Towards the end of next month of May blooms begins one of the most appetising that mother nature has in store for us.
These are the flowers of Capparis spinosa. They are collected when floral buttons are still closed to become the ghiotti bocconcini that all know as capers sott'aceto.

22 years have passed, and the ghost of Chernobyl continues to wandering for Europe. Work to put safety of what remains of the reactor in essence have yet to begin.
Who remembers lived well, I believe, the great fear, 22 years ago. The April 26, 1986 l 'explosion of nuclear reactor number four in Ukraine, and the radioactive cloud which ran over half of Europe, including Italy.
The reactor is still there, covered by a "sarcophagus" cement so full of cracks that looks like a sieve. Threat even collapse.

The Chinese official sources speak of "multiple causes". No mention an increase in the price of coal, rincarato by 50% in the last five months, in the wake of oil.
China relies mainly coal to produce energy. It burns as the United States, Japan and Europe put together. A global, coal provides 25% of energy and cause the emission of 39% of greenhouse gases. Not for nothing greenhouse gas emissions from China have exceeded those of the United States.

Calculator in hand, Brett Arennds compares the poor investment performance in the short term - there is an air of recession - and the prospect of 'further and rapid increase of food, whose price is already triggering riots in many countries.
